A Giclee is a fine art print produced on canvas or acid-free watercolor paper.

Giclee (zhe-clay), (French) litterally means “to spray, jet, or spurt.” The process involves squirting microscopic dots of ink onto paper or canvas. The ink is absorbded slightyly to create fine art reporductions that are often indistinguishable from the originals.

Each Giclee is signed, dated and numbered. Editions are limited to 250, more often only 100.

The canvas Giclees are remarqued by the artist. Giving the reproduction – an impasto texture without noticeable change for a lifetime.

Giclees are the highest quality print produced today.
